Promotional Policy

Absence from the test/examination in the system of continuous evaluation is not permitted. A student himself/herself from a test/examination is not retested/ re-examined.

The pass percentage in each academic subject for classes is 40%. The marks obtained by the student are converted into grades & reflected in the report card.

The grades are as follows:

A*-100 B1-70-79 C1-50-59 D1-30-39
A1-90-99 B2-60-69 C2-40-49 D2-20-29


Since Art Education. Physical Education are compulsory components of the curriculum for students, classes must score passing grade in Art. Physical Education and any other SUPW based activity introduced by school from time to time.

Class IX-XI
It is mandatory for all students to clear all subjects to be promoted to the next class. In subjects where practicals are involved, the rule of passing separately in theory & practicals is applicable as per the norms of CBSE.

Special Note For Board Classes IX-X

Students of class ix & x must pass in all five subjects in their formative assessment and Summative Assessment -1 to become eligible for submission of forms for the Summative Assessment -2 Board Examination in the ensuring year.They must log in by time that the minimum prescribed attendance of 80% in the event of their failure to qualify academically or shortage of attendance. Their forms will not sent to the board along with those regular students in September. However, the forms of such students may be submitted in November/December provided they qualify the written examination and make up their deficiency in attendance. A late fee will be payable by such students.

Special Note For Board Classes XI-XII

Students of class XI &XII must pass in all five subjects in their quarterly tests and Half yearly examination to become eligible for submission of forms for the Board Examination in the ensuring year. They must log in by that time the minimum prescribed attendance of 80% in the event of their failure to qualify academically or shortage of attendance. Their forms will not sent to the board along with those of regular students in September/October However, the forms of such students may be submitted in December provided they qualify the written examination and make up their deficiency in attendance. A late fee will be payable by such students. Students who have appeared in the Board Examination must collect their Mark sheets within one year of the declaration of results.
